A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF STEVENS COUNTY RURAL LIBRARY DISTRICT, STEVENS COUNTY, WASHINGTON, IN THE MATTER OF PUBLIC RECORDS;

Whereas, the Board finds Second Substitute House Bill 1758 passed by the 2005 Washington State Legislature, has added a new section to chapter RCW 42.17 requiring each local agency to appoint and publicly identify a public records officer whose responsibility is to serve as a point of contact for members of the public in requesting disclosure of public records and to oversee the agency's compliance with the public records and to oversee the agency's compliance with the public records disclosure requirements of RCW Chapter 42.17;

Now, therefore, it is hereby resolved and ordered that Amanda McKeraghan, Director, is hereby appointed as the public records officer for the Stevens County Rural Library District. A copy of this resolution will be posted at the District office at 4008 Cedar St. Loon Lake and on the District's website.
