"The sport cannot be surpassed. The waters of the lake are stocked with native trout, Lake Superior trout, black bass, rock bass, yellow perch, sun fish, channel cat, and the catches made there almost surpass belief. The moss beds in the shallow water afford an ideal lurking place for perch, while in the deep rocky pools are found the trout and bass.
