Lots of information is contained in these brochures used throughout the history of the resort. One of the early ones stated the following: "Long leases given on ground free for parties wishing to build summer cottages. Beautiful lake shore lots can be bought at prices ranging from $2 to $3 per front foot, 150 to 200 feet deep."
