In 1930, Morgan Park hosted their first Regatta.The Clayton Moose Bulletin newspaper had this to say: "Over fifty racing craft have filed for entry in the races which are put on by the Inland Empire Boat club and sponsored by the Spokane and Clayton Moose Lodges.
