Morgan Park History Program
According to a newspaper story, Evan Morgan, junior, died on August 22, 1952, approximately 1/2 mile west of Loon Lake. He had left home in his pickup to go fishing in a near by stream. The truck had apparently left the road and was stuck in a small creek near a culvert. They figured he was attempting to place rocks under a wheel when he was stricken, presumably with a heart attack and fell over backward. He was survived by his wife, Emma and son Evan at the home. MarGwen was married and living in Spokane at the time.
